About The Position

Purpose Performs corrective and preventive maintenance on main production lines. Inspects, troubleshoots, repairs, and maintains electrical and instrumentation equipment and panels in accordance with diagrams, sketches, operation manuals, and manufacturer’s specifications. Areas of Responsibility / Tasks Performance must reflect an appropriate level of expertise and achievement of the desired results for the items listed below.

Requirements

Knowledge and use of basic hand tools, I&E equipment (Multimeter, Meggers, etc.).
Knowledge of safety regulations, energy isolation, lockout, JSAs, and line breaking procedures.
Ability to work on high voltage and to work near exposed energized electrical lines.
Able to read, write and comprehend English as well as basic math skills.
High School diploma or GED.
Familiar with CMMS systems.
Valid Driver’s license
The employee must own and keep on hand the following tools/equipment: (minimum required) • Industrial Multimeter (AC/DC Volt, Amp, Ohm, etc.)
Clamp Meter
Voltage detector
Basic electrical related work tools like:
Side-cutting pliers o Diagonal cutting pliers o long nose pliers o Wire stripper (10-18 AWG) o NM cable ripper
Stripping/crimping combination tool
Cable cutter o Utility knife
12″ hacksaw
Flat blade screwdriver (Various size) o Phillips screwdriver (Various sizes)
Adjustable wrench set o Allen wrench set o 25-Feet tape measure o 18-Ounce Electrician’s hammer

Nice To Haves

Mechanical maintenance knowledge is a plus.
Ability to drive a company vehicle to perform duties.
Unique ability to work in and contribute to a high performance, team-based work culture.
Temperature laser gun (optional but recommended)
Screw holding screwdriver 3/16-Inch by 6-Inch (optional but recommended)

Responsibilities

Perform predictive, preventive, and corrective maintenance on production lines and equipment.
Execute troubleshooting and root cause analysis during corrective maintenance on main production lines and equipment.
Maintain production lines’ main components, like conveyors, rollers, gearmotors, chains, pneumatic components, valves and other related electrical, automation and mechanical equipment.
Perform overhaul of equipment, components replacement, alignments, and calibration to specifications.
Open, update and close assigned Work Orders utilizing CMMS (MPulse).
Identify, address, and notify Maintenance Supervisor or Manager about any maintenance related deviation or requirement from internal customers (i.e.: Production Department, Safety Department, etc.).
Maintain communication among work teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs.
Provide solutions and corrective/preventative actions on problems/troubleshooting.
Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
Commit to OCS Blue & OSHA Safety facility Standard.
Any other maintenance related task assigned by Maintenance Supervisor or Manager.
