About The Position
I&C Technician – Contract role – Spring Outage 2026 WECTEC Staffing has an exciting opportunity for an I&C Technician with Westinghouse for the Spring outage. What your day-to-day looks like: Performing instrumentation testing using digital multi-meters, oscilloscopes, and customer supplier equipment/simulators. Interpret drawings and execute test procedures. Operate electronic and electrical test equipment. Read and follow drawings, blueprints, wiring diagrams, schematic drawings, or engineering instructions for assemble/testing electronics units, applying knowledge of basic electronic theory and components. Learn, understand, and practice the appropriate quality, health, and safety procedures applicable to each work assignment.
Requirements
- High School diploma, GED, or equivalent job experience is required.
- 2+ years of experience is preferred. Recent graduates will also be considered.
- Strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills.
Nice To Haves
- Field cable installation work is a plus.
