About The Position

Transdev in Denver, Colorado is seeking a C-Level Diesel Mechanic to bolster our team. This entry-level technician role requires knowledge in diagnosing, repairing, and preventative maintenance of company-owned and/or leased vehicles and equipment. This position plays a crucial role in ensuring safety, efficiency, and longevity for our vehicles. Position open until 03/31/2026 or until filled Transdev is proud to offer: Position Subject to Collective Bargaining Agreement: o Starting pay $30.81 with progression to $33.88 over 5 years. Requirements

  • A minimum of 1 year experience as a diesel engine mechanic.
  • ASE certifications preferred, paid ASE certification program provided.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure vehicles are maintained and safe for our customers by performing limited repairs with moderate supervision. Maintenance tasks may include replacing light bulbs, fuses, lenses, wiper blades, belts, hoses, batteries, checking fluid levels, changing fluids/filters and lubricating components.
  • Perform mechanical repairs under supervision including inspecting/repairing brakes, suspensions, drive trains, transmissions, and other repairs.
  • Maintain records of all maintenance work performed on vehicles including parts and supplies used. Ensure work orders are completed properly and accurately.
  • Complete preventative maintenance (PMs), safety maintenance inspections and annual maintenance inspections at prescribed intervals of time and usage.
  • Notify supervisor of potentially dangerous equipment and corrective action taken.
  • Evaluate completed work prior to release and seek approval when required.
  • Assist with road calls and emergency services, as necessary.
  • Move vehicles safely between job and work areas.
  • Adhere to Transdev standards, policies and procedures.
  • Actively participate in required training, including monthly safety meetings.
