About The Position

Riley Power group, LLC is a full-service maintenance and capital construction services company headquartered in Rock Hill, SC. We work nationwide on some of the most challenging, exciting construction and maintenance projects in the industrial sector. We are currently hiring a skilled I&C Technician – Lead (Sr) for multiple positions in the US. Essential Functions of this position may include but are not limited to: Responsible for the maintenance, inspection, troubleshooting, repair, calibration and testing of power plant instrumentation and control equipment. Must be able to read and understand drawings/prints, manuals, and procedures. Troubleshoot instrumentation and control system (such as instrument loops, electronic control systems and equipment) to determine operational problems, follow any applicable administrative procedures, perform tests of loops, evaluate data, and recommend actions to take. Calibrate equipment's/devices/components to meet technical and manufacturing specifications. Repair I&C systems and equipment according to appropriate control procedures to return equipment to service. Document all system and equipment repairs. Perform preventative maintenance on I&C systems and equipment. Perform independent and component verification, which includes review of work requests, flow diagrams and procedures. Leading multiple crews and technician, during major projects/task and reporting directly to management on assigned duties. Requirements

  • 8+ years working experience in instrumentation and control and electrical maintenance.
  • Knowledge and Prior Qualifications of I&C Systems, Specialty Training Certifications.
  • Prior experience Leading Crews on a Senior Technician level.
  • High school diploma or equivalent or Associate degree or higher in electronics, engineering technology, instrumentation, or related field.
  • Successful candidate must possess the willingness and ability to complete and pass all pre-employment and employment screening requirements which may include but are not limited to: Practical skills, other medical, psychological (if required by site), background and substance abuse screening(s).
  • Lifting objects weighing 50 pounds to waist height and transporting a distance of 10 feet.
  • Medical qualifications that may be required for this position, to include a respirator fit test, clean shaven face will be required based on the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) Respiratory Protection Standard [29 CFR 1910.134(g)(1)(i)].
  • Must be a citizen of the US, its possessions or territories, or lawful permanent resident as defined by USC 1101(a)(20), or protected individual as defined by USC 1324b(a)(3)
  • RPG participates in the eVerify program.
