About The Position

The Hyundai Mainline Technician position at Schomp Hyundai in Aurora, CO, involves performing timely and proficient service on vehicles, including routine maintenance and repairs. Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience as mainline technician in a professional dealership or automotive service center required
  • 2+ years of Hyundai, Kia or Genesis brand experience required
  • The ability to work independently with limited supervision and demonstrate the motivation to continually increase your knowledge & technical skills
  • Your own complete and up-to-date set of tools
  • You must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license and acceptable MVR

Responsibilities

  • Service vehicles in a timely and proficient manner for routine scheduled and regular maintenance
  • Inspect vehicle engines and mechanical/electrical components to diagnose issues, and accurately recommend replacement/repair as needed
  • Work with your team toward achieving dealership, group, and manufacturer goals and benchmarks
  • Efficiently and accurately repair or replace broken or dysfunctional parts and fix issues, maintaining productivity goals
