About The Position

Are you a driven and results oriented sales professional with a passion for stellar customer service, heavy trucks, hydrovacs and commercial vehicles? Join our reputable team at Transwest, a leading provider of transportation solutions, and play a crucial role in driving our sales efforts to new heights. As a Hydrovac Salesperson, you will be responsible for generating new business and maintaining strong relationships with existing clients in the industry. Your primary goal will be to meet or exceed sales targets by promoting and selling our range of hydrovacs to various companies. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, be a strong self-starter, and a proven track record of sales success. This position will be responsible for the Northeastern region of the United States.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent. Valid Driver's License and MVR in good standing.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Excellent follow through skills.
  • Professional, responsible, and customer oriented at all times.
  • Ability to obtain a CDL Call B with tanker endorsements within 90 days of employment.
  • Ability to successfully complete a General Abilities Assessment and pass post-offer background check, physical and drug screening.

Nice To Haves

  • Bilingual (English & Spanish), this is a plus, but not required.
  • Industry experience is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Create and maintain relationships with customers.
  • Establish and qualify new customers.
  • Sell new and preowned inventory.
  • Maintain strong knowledge of the Foremost and Rival product lines.
  • Maintain strong knowledge of the competitions product lines.
  • Have a strong working knowledge of basic trouble shooting technical issues related to the Foremost and Rival line of hydrovacs
  • Delivery exceptional customer service and support
  • Work well individually as well as with the Hydrovac Team, Parts Team, and Service Teams.
  • Complete all required product training.
  • Follow up on all sales leads from a variety of sources (phone, walkins, internet, referrals, etc.).
  • Reach the sales and gross profit objectives set by the Sales Manager.
  • Provide prompt, courteous and accurate service to customers.
  • Maintain familiarity with all products, programs and dealership policies.
  • Attened local and national trade shows
  • Provide additional help in areas as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned by the manager.
