PRIMARY FUNCTION: Sell hydraulic services within a designated territory. Maximize market penetration while ensuring customer is satisfaction. ESSENTIAL DUTIES: 1. Hydraulic Parts and Service Sales. (a) Achieve designated sales goals through direct sales of cylinder, pump, and motor repairs and parts within a designated territory. (b) Develop internal relationships with other company personnel to maximize existing good customer relations to promote hydraulic sales. Internal targets are PSSRs, Counter Sales Reps, Machine Sales Reps, PM Supervisor, and Field Service Reps. (c) Manage designated territory to include: 1 Determine sales routes and frequency of sales calls. Transporting units to and from the customer is an integral part of the job. The number of sales call per day will be assigned based on territory geography and opportunity. 2 Prospect and call upon no less than 5 new customers per day either physically or by phone. 3 Coordinate with the appropriate shop to complete repairs in a reasonable and timely manner. 4 Complete designated sales reports to include: a. Weekly Sales. b. Weekly Lost Sales. c. Competitive Activity. 2. General. (a) Improve technical knowledge and selling skills through seminars, classes, and self-improvement research. (b) Complete and submit expense report by the first of each month. (c) Maintain a current forklift certification. (d) Ensure assigned vehicle is properly maintained and operated.
