Interns will work full-time hours during the summer. Job Purpose The Hydraulic Engineering team is responsible for the design, validation, and integration of hydraulic systems and components across CNH machinery. By ensuring reliable system performance, the team plays a critical role in supporting equipment productivity and advancing new product development. As a Hydraulic System Engineer Intern, you will work closely with a team of five hydraulic engineers-one of whom will serve as your mentor-to gain hands-on experience in system design, validation planning, and prototype support.

Nice To Haves

  • Candidates must be pursuing (at minimum) a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Agricultural Engineering, or a related field.

Responsibilities

  • Supporting system and component design work for hydraulic applications in agricultural and construction machinery
  • Assisting in the creation and execution of validation plans to ensure performance, durability, and safety requirements are met
  • Contributing to prototype machine builds, helping integrate hydraulic systems and resolve engineering challenges
  • Collaborating with engineers to analyze data, troubleshoot issues, and recommend improvements
  • Learning industry standards and applying engineering practices to support both new product development and continuous improvement efforts
