CHA Consulting, Inc. is seeking two Hydraulic Engineers to join our Bridge Team in Keene, NH; Burlington, MA; Hartford, CT; Albany, NY; Portland, ME; or working remotely. In this role, you’ll contribute to the design, evaluation, and enhancement of essential bridge infrastructure. Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Water Resources, or Environmental Engineering required
- No experience required; however prior internships and/or relevant coursework are preferred
- Strong theoretical foundation and familiarity with engineering software (Revit, AutoCAD, MicroStation, etc.)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Excellent communication skills and a desire to work in a collaborative team
Nice To Haves
- Participation in professional engineering society/organization preferred
- Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification a plus
Responsibilities
- Assist in the design, development, and implementation of technical solutions for bridge projects
- Support senior engineers in preparing technical reports, contract documents, and cost estimates
- Perform calculations and design tasks using industry standards, regulatory guidelines, and best practices for bridge safety and durability
- Join field assignments with senior staff to gain hands-on experience in bridge design, evaluation, and inspection
