About The Position

As a Hydration Plant Operator, you will play a key role in producing high‑quality lime products by operating and maintaining computer‑controlled hydration systems, ensuring safe operations, meeting quality standards, and supporting efficient plant performance.

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent
Minimum of three (3) years experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment
Ability to work rotating shifts, overtime, holidays, and respond to call‑ins as needed

Nice To Haves

Knowledge of electrical and mechanical maintenance
Experience with computer‑controlled or automated process systems
Proficiency with computers, keyboarding, and Microsoft Windows
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Forklift, telehandler, or mobile equipment operation experience

Responsibilities

Operate and monitor computer‑controlled hydration systems and associated equipment
Perform quality tests and process checks to ensure products meet specifications
Load finished product for customer shipment by rail or truck; generate BOLs and shipping records
Maintain raw material and supply inventories, including purchase order requests
Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and minor repairs on plant equipment
Monitor dust control systems and support environmental compliance requirements
Maintain accurate production, shipping, and operator records in computerized systems
Uphold safety, housekeeping, and operational excellence standards across the facility
