As an Hy-Chi Department Cook, this position will be responsible for preparing various foods for the Hy-Chi department. You will be responsible for food in hot and cold cases. Additionally you will ensure a positive company image by providing courteous, friendly, and efficient customer service to customers and team members. This role involves preparing woks, cooking soups and meats, preparing vegetables and sauces, combining ingredients, placing food in hot cases, monitoring and refilling food, ordering supplies, cleaning the work area, filling cold cases, and preparing items for the next day. The cook must understand all aspects of the Hy-Chi kitchen and maintain strict adherence to department and company guidelines related to personal hygiene and dress.
