About The Position

MSRC is seeking a full-time Hardware-in-the-Loop (HWIL) Test Engineer to join our missile guidance integration and test team.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of relevant experience.
  • BS degree in Aerospace, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering required.
  • Intermediate to expert programming skills (C/C++) and Linux experience required.
  • Candidate must be a U.S. Citizen.
  • Candidate must currently possess and be able to maintain an active security clearance.

Nice To Haves

  • MS or PhD in Aerospace, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering desired.
  • RF development and test experience desired.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct HWIL missile guidance tests for various Army weapon systems.
  • Convert all-digital 6-DOF simulations into real-time, deterministic simulations for HWIL applications.
  • Develop HWIL interfaces for (IR, RF, and SAL) seekers and guidance computers.
  • Troubleshoot complex missile guidance issues via simulation and HWIL testing.
  • Provide Guidance, Navigation, & Control (GNC) support as required.
  • Support real-time open-loop and closed-loop testing with the scene generation, IRSP, and seeker.
  • Write technical documentation as required to summarize work.
