Location: Atlanta, GA (Airport) Shift: 1st: Tuesday-Saturday; 6:30am-2:30pm Pay: $27.00-$31.00/Hr. The HVAC Technician provides electrical and mechanical support for the buildings at a client campus. This role has wide ranging responsibilities including low/medium voltage power, HVAC system and controls, EPA certificate, mechanical system troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, emergency response, general maintenance, carpentry, and maintaining plumbing system. Primary responsibilities will include electrical/mechanical support for power systems, lighting systems and controls, and other facility subsystems and support tools. What is the day to day? Performance of ongoing preventive and repair response work orders on facility mechanical, plumbing, and other installed systems, equipment, and other components. Perform assigned facility inspections and due diligence efforts, reporting on as found conditions impacting satisfactory client occupancy and operations. General interior maintenance – light plumbing, hang pictures, install keyboard trays, repair office furniture systems, replace ceiling tiles, and repair doors. Assist the operations team in the maintenance and repair of building and equipment and/or as directed Moves office furniture, machinery, equipment and other materials as requested Set up conference rooms and/or the conference center for events - as requested. Assist the Electrician on the team occasionally with light electrical & lighting work Clean HVAC coils, change filters and belts - and assist the on-site HVAC technician as needed. Complete Hazard Assessments as necessary Comply with all safety procedures, maintaining good housekeeping and safety of work areas. Recognize danger and safety hazards and propose methods to eliminate them. Maintain compliance to State, County, or City Ordinances, Codes, or Laws. Must complete all required safety trainings as scheduled Complies with all policies for the safe storage, usage and disposal of hazardous materials.
