About The Position

Perform various skilled work in the operation, maintenance, diagnostic, repair, adjustment, and alteration of HVAC systems. Generally, the hiring rate is $27.64 to $34.55 per hour. Requirements

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: A high school diploma or GED equivalent supplemented by three (3) years of professional journey-level HVAC experience.
Must possess a valid Colorado Driver’s License upon hire, with compliant insurance. A review of motor vehicle records is required at the time of hire and periodically throughout employment.
Must possess a Federal Universal Refrigeration License issued by the State of Colorado.
This position requires the successful completion of a criminal background check, including fingerprinting through a national database.

Responsibilities

Diagnosis of HVAC equipment failures.
Performs all HVAC equipment preventative maintenance.
Performs repairs on HVAC equipment, including boilers, air handlers, DX systems, chillers, and numerous other types of HVAC and refrigeration systems.
Installs HVAC and building automation systems and equipment.
Installs ductwork, low voltage controls, gas piping, and ventilation systems.
Responsible for rough-in and final trim of new systems.
Performs building automation preventative maintenance.
Responds to and investigates complaints of malfunctioning building comfort control equipment.
Monitor building efficiencies to include indoor air quality and energy use.
Respond to after-hours or emergency calls outside of regular scheduled or business hours.
Performs other related duties as assigned or requested.
