About The Position

We are looking for a talented individual… To join our team as an entry level HVAC Technician and support residential energy efficiency programs. In this hands‑on role, you will travel to customers’ homes within an assigned territory using a company vehicle to perform home energy assessments and install energy‑saving equipment such as smart thermostats, lighting upgrades, and water‑saving devices. You will also assist with the installation and troubleshooting of AC load control devices while providing a positive, customer‑focused experience. This is an excellent opportunity for recent HVAC graduates or early‑career technicians looking to gain field experience, develop technical skills, and grow within the energy efficiency and sustainability space. The role follows a primarily Monday–Friday schedule, with flexibility required based on program needs. Please note, all tools and equipment, including PPE and a company vehicle will be provided. The successful candidate will live within commutable distance to Waterloo IA. $1000 sign on bonus for the successful candidate will be included.

Requirements

• Degree or diploma in an HVAC program.
• 0-1 year of HVAC experience.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving background.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
• A great attitude and willingness to learn and grow.

Responsibilities

• Travel to residential homes within an assigned territory using a company vehicle
• Install residential energy‑saving measures (e.g., smart thermostats, lighting, aerators)
• Conduct home energy assessments
• Install and troubleshoot AC load control devices
• Maintain schedule flexibility as required (typically Mon–Fri, 8am–5pm)
