About The Position

Responsible for servicing and maintaining HVAC systems. Installing new systems and replacing old by performing the following duties.

Requirements

• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
• Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 2-4 years servicing and installs
• 2-4 years fabricating/metal work
• 2-4 years troubleshooting voltage issues
• Valid driver's license
• EPA II certification
• HVAC tech certification
• Tablet
• Recovery machine
• Vacuum machine
• Power tools
• Able to effectively communicate with customer
• Being punctual and timely
• Good housekeeping and organized
• Ability to commute/relocate: Huntington Beach, CA: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
• Hvac service tech.: 2 years (Required)

Responsibilities

• Analyzes, plans, and performs preventive maintenance of HVAC systems.
• Diagnoses, troubleshoots, and repairs residential HVAC systems.
• Orders and maintains parts needed to repair/maintain and install HVAC equipment.
• Maintains skill in cleaning, adjusting and repairing ventilation and air conditioning systems and equipment.
• Maintains ability to identify and communicate solutions to satisfy customer's needs
• Diagnoses electrical and mechanical faults for HVAC systems.
• Maintains focus on customer satisfaction, safety and comfort.
• Maintains excellent organization, communication and troubleshooting skills.
