About The Position

We are seeking a skilled and dependable HVAC Technician to join our team in Platte City, MO. This role focuses on the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems while ensuring quality workmanship, adherence to safety standards, and excellent customer service. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge, hands-on field experience, and familiarity with industry codes and best practices.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED (formal HVAC training or technical certification preferred).
Proven experience as an HVAC Technician in residential and/or commercial settings.
EPA Section 608 Certification (required or ability to obtain).
Strong troubleshooting and mechanical skills.
Ability to read schematics, blueprints, and wiring diagrams.
Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in varying environmental conditions.
Strong customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Install, service, and repair residential and commercial HVAC systems including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and ventilation systems.
Diagnose system malfunctions and perform necessary repairs or component replacements.
Conduct routine preventative maintenance and system inspections.
Review blueprints, technical diagrams, and job specifications to complete work accurately.
Ensure compliance with local mechanical codes, safety standards, and EPA refrigerant regulations.
Perform system start-ups, testing, and calibrations to confirm proper functionality.
Maintain accurate service records, parts usage documentation, and customer notes.
Communicate clearly with customers regarding system issues, repair recommendations, and maintenance plans.
