We are looking for experienced HVAC Service Technician who is driven, self motivated, and professional in Charlottesvile, VA. We offer a sign on bonus UP TO $3,500. Requirements: High school diploma or GED 2 yrs. + experience as a Residential Service Technician (not helper) Proficient with residential HVAC troubleshooting and repair Thorough understanding of the maintenance, and repair of HVAC systems Understand electrical, mechanical and control systems Must be able to read and understand low voltage schematics Professional appearance Organized with attention to detail Dependable and strong work ethic Ability to work independently Fluent in English (oral and written) Valid driver's license Good driving record Preferred Education and Experience: CFC Card History of continuing education in the HVAC industry Job Functions/Tasks: Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Refer to blueprints and schematics to troubleshoot, maintain, and repair existing equipment Use of diagnostic equipment to identify and address system problems Travel to homes as scheduled in their appointment slot Inspect current HVAC systems for effectiveness and safety Perform preventative maintenance on HVAC systems to increase longevity Conduct performance tests with specialized tools Troubleshoot current HVAC system issues Repair damaged HVAC systems Maintain accurate inventory of all equipment and HVAC resources Follow company and industry safety guidelines and regulations Clean work area, machines, tools and supplies Perform other related duties as assigned

Requirements

High school diploma or GED
2 yrs. + experience as a Residential Service Technician (not helper)

Responsibilities

Refer to blueprints and schematics to troubleshoot, maintain, and repair existing equipment
Use of diagnostic equipment to identify and address system problems

Perform preventative maintenance on HVAC systems to increase longevity
