About The Position
Custom Aire Inc. is a family-owned HVAC contractor with over 57 years of experience, providing full-service HVAC solutions to residential, commercial, and industrial clients in Philadelphia, Bucks, Montgomery, and surrounding areas. Their services include design, fabrication, installation, service, and maintenance for a wide range of systems such as heat pumps, air handlers, ventilation systems, gas, oil, and propane heating systems, boilers, ductless and fully ducted AC systems, rooftop units, indoor air quality solutions, custom ductwork, and metal fabrication. The company is seeking experienced HVAC Service Technicians to perform diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance for residential and light commercial customers. This role is for a technician who values their work, communicates effectively with customers, and aims to maximize their earning potential.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license with insurable driving record
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- 8+ years of HVAC service experience
- EPA Universal Certification
- Strong troubleshooting and repair skills across a wide range of HVAC systems
- Experience with: Forced air, ductless, and hydronic systems
- Experience with: Gas, oil, and electric equipment
- Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams
- Experience presenting repair/replacement options to customers
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Willingness to work overtime when needed
- Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
- Basic sheet metal knowledge
Responsibilities
- Diagnose, repair, and maintain HVAC systems in residential and light commercial settings
- Communicate clearly with customers about issues, solutions, and pricing
- Deliver a high level of customer service and professionalism
