AES has expanded its capabilities to include a Mechanical Services Division and Misc. Steel manufacturing, aiming to reduce construction costs and streamline coordination for its General Contractor network nationwide. AES operates 4 fabrication facilities across the nation to support customers and optimize logistics. An HVAC Teardown (I) at the Lennox AES location in Weatherford, TX, is responsible for the safe and efficient recovery and reclamation of parts from HVAC systems. This role is crucial for environmental sustainability, ensuring the proper handling, recycling, and disposal of HVAC components in compliance with industry regulations.

Requirements

  • Ability to stand for extended periods and work with dust/oil
  • Able to use hand and power tools, including metal cutting saws
  • Works with a positive attitude and is a team player
  • Ability to lift and move moderate to heavy objects
  • Has an attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
  • Able to handle and sort different materials
  • Previous manufacturing or construction experience
  • Basic understanding of safety protocols in a manufacturing environment
  • Requires a high school diploma or an equivalent combination of education and experience

Nice To Haves

  • Basic Knowledge of HVAC systems, refrigerants, and their environmental impact preferred

Responsibilities

  • Follow all safety procedures and use required PPE
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area
  • Handle and sort materials through the reclaim process
  • Identify and address any potential issues with the equipment during the tear down process
  • Ensure compliance with environmental and safety standards in all reclaim activities
  • Dismantle HVAC systems, ensuring the safe removal of components using hand and power tools
