HVAC Shop Manager
About The Position
The Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning ( HVAC ) Manager provides day-to-day leadership for HVAC Leads, HVAC Technicians, and assigned personnel engaged in installing, maintaining, repairing, and modifying HVAC systems and related controls across university facilities. The role combines technical expertise with planning, scheduling, and administrative oversight to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operation of HVAC systems, in compliance with university standards, codes, and applicable regulations. The HVAC Manager supports preventive maintenance and deferred maintenance planning, coordinates with campus partners and external vendors, and serves as an essential employee during closures or emergencies.
