Who You Are Service Technicians perform thorough maintenance on all ages of equipment, with the ability to accurately diagnose heating and air conditioning system issues. You must be able to recognize potential breakdown issues before they happen and make the a ppropriate recommendations to the customer. You must also be comfortable asking for money and deliver excellent communication skills.

Requirements

  • Valid Driver’s License
  • HVAC Certified/EPA
  • 2+ years of HVAC experience
  • Clean driving record
  • Time management skills
  • Basic software understanding
  • Self-motivation
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Basic mechanical aptitude
  • Basic computer skills
  • The ability to use various hand and power tools common to trade
  • The ability to learn through observation and hands on experience
  • The ability to follow routine, verbal, and written instructions
  • The ability to communicate with team members and customers effectively
  • Being capable of maintaining professional working relationships with team members
  • The ability to understand, analyze, interpret, and implement ideas contained in technical documents, reports, regulations, etc.
  • The ability to perform basic mathematical functions

Responsibilities

  • Ability to work a flexible schedule and maintain attendance based on business needs.
  • Ensure new/returning customers’ concerns are addressed and handled appropriately, timely , and in an accurate manner.
  • Ability to manage stress, difficult, or emotional customer situations.
  • Operating company vehicles, and you will be expected to follow all state and federal laws, as well as maintain the cleanliness and routine maintenance of the vehicles.
  • Safety responsibilities & requirements will be provided in training, and no tolerance will be accepted for disregard of safety instructions.
  • Operate a variety of hand and power tools, meters, hand tools, and all other test equipment utilized in the trade.
  • Perform skilled maintenance work in the repair, installation, and alteration of HVAC equipment, components, timers, motors, and any other wiring system as needed.
  • Submit customer invoices via company iPad, correctly documenting customer equipment information, diagnostics, and all recommended repairs.
  • Perform proper maintenance on heating and air conditioning systems that prevents systems from breaking down and provide safety and comfort for our clients.
  • Communicate options to clients for maintenance, repairs, and replacement
  • Ability to speak and maintain professionalism to customers, team members, and vendors.
