About The Position

New England Mechanical Services is currently seeking a licensed HVAC Technician (RT) to maintain trouble shoot, repair and operate commercial HVAC systems for our Palmer, Massachusetts Operations Group. We serve commercial customers in Western and Central Massachusetts. We promise to challenge your skills by solving complicated problems for our clients while giving you support and training to advance your career. We have tremendous growth opportunities for the right technician. We only ask that you have good customer service relations, the ability to respond on a moment’s notice, and strong communication skills. We offer a sign-on bonus for the right candidate. A company vehicle, HVAC equipment, gas card, cell phone, uniforms, and all PPE is provided.

Requirements

Must hold a current Massachusetts Refrigeration Technician License.
EPA 608 Universal required.
Commercial HVAC systems experience.
Must have a clean driving record

Nice To Haves

MA Oil Burner Technician certificate preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Keep trade licenses and certifications current.
Follow and comply with the rules and regulations of section 608 of the clean air act and occupational safety regulations mandated by federal, state and local governments.
Attend all safety training provided and/or sponsored by NEMSI.
Follow all NEMSI safety policies, procedures, and use personal protective equipment when performing installation and/or servicing HVAC systems.
Interact with the client in a professional and courteous manner while maintaining a clean and neat appearance.
Flexible to work overtime and weekends as demand requires.
Other duties may be assigned.
