About The Position

Ready to lead a team that's setting the standard for exceptional service? J&R Herra is hiring a full-time HVAC Service Manager in Geneva, IL, and we want you to be the driving force behind our success. WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING: As the HVAC Service Manager, you'll spend your time coaching technicians, helping them improve their ticket averages, closing rates, and overall revenue. You'll promote product and sales training, including strategies for lead generation, and you'll regularly do ride-alongs to review and refine service processes. Your day-to-day work also includes following up on jobs, sourcing parts, and managing truck inventory levels to ensure the team has what it needs. You will maintain strict operational standards for safety and accurate invoicing, and provide technical support to troubleshoot complex issues. You'll cultivate a high-performance culture focused on growth, manage recruiting and retention, and resolve any escalated customer concerns to ensure 100% satisfaction.

Requirements

Experience working in a service manager position
Knowledge of HVAC services, repairs, and parts
Excellent customer service skills
Ability to train and coach technicians
Must have the ability to pass a background check and drug screening test.

Responsibilities
