Requirements

  • 5+ years of HVAC industry experience, including 3+ years in a leadership or operations management role
  • HVAC certification required
  • Strong understanding of residential and commercial HVAC systems, including installation, maintenance, and repair
  • Experience with Service Titan or similar field service management platforms preferred
  • Proven ability to manage, motivate, and develop field technicians and support staff
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a dedication to client satisfaction
  • Excellent time management, multitasking, and problem-solving skills
  • Must have a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record

Responsibilities

  • Team Leadership: Oversee daily operations of the HVAC Service team, ensuring quality workmanship, high morale, and efficient workflow
  • Project Oversight: Manage scheduling, project timelines, and resource allocation to ensure timely job completion and customer satisfaction
  • Technical Support: Provide hands-on guidance and technical expertise to field staff, assisting with complex HVAC installations, diagnostics, and troubleshooting when needed
  • Training & Development: Mentor technicians and apprentices, lead ongoing training initiatives, and promote a culture of continuous improvement
  • Customer Satisfaction: Ensure the highest levels of service are delivered; address customer concerns and follow up on service outcomes to maintain strong client relationships
  • Process Improvement: Identify operational inefficiencies and implement strategies to streamline processes and improve productivity and profitability
  • Job Documentation & Reporting: Oversee the accurate use of software tools like Service Titan for scheduling, job tracking, and performance analytics
  • Compliance & Safety: Ensure all HVAC work is performed in accordance with local codes, safety regulations, and company policies
