Requirements

  • Minimum of 2+ years in a sales or management position with successful results.
  • Strong computer skills with competency in Microsoft Applications and Internet browsers.
  • Ability to inspire and lead others to attain company goals.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to provide clear and decisive messages.
  • Highly organized with exceptional follow-through abilities.
  • Passionate about A.B. May and committed to upholding company values.
  • Outgoing personality that blends well with a fast-paced, goal-driven environment.
  • Self-motivated with a flexible attitude and a strong work ethic.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to work in confined spaces (e.g., attics, crawl spaces, basements).
  • Prolonged periods of standing, kneeling, and bending.
  • Ability to work at heights (e.g., ladders, elevated plat forms).
  • Manual dexterity to handle electrical tools and equipment.
  • Ability to work in various weather conditions when performing outdoor installations.
  • Valid Driver’s License (required)

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred, but proven successful experience in leadership may be considered in lieu of a degree.

Responsibilities

  • Integrate sales strategies across other departments to drive profitable results.
  • Show technicians how to establish customer rapport to offer the right products and services.
  • Understand performance criteria and hold your team accountable for exceeding revenue goals.
  • Work alongside Customer Service and Dispatch to ensure the overall success of the business, including:
  • Meeting call counts
  • Monitoring labor
  • Achieving sold hours
  • Monitor performance of technicians through weekly ride-alongs and one-on-one coaching sessions.
  • Ensure incentive programs are equitable and properly documented.
