About The Position

Leads are provided, but this is a hunter -focused role (approximately 80% new business development) designed for a motivated sales professional who understands the commercial HVAC and mechanical services market and can build relationships with key decision makers. This role offers the opportunity to build a territory, grow recurring service revenue, and develop long -term customer relationships in a market with strong demand for HVAC and mechanical services.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience with Commercial HVAC systems and demonstrated mechanical aptitude
  • Consult on and sell replacement chiller systems directly to owners. Average range of project 100K to 1million.
  • Sell in a multi party sales process, vendors, business owners and internal team.Strong understanding of building codes, industry standards, and HVAC equipment.
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Self -motivated with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.

Responsibilities

  • Develop new business opportunities within the commercial HVAC and mechanical services market
  • Build relationships with facility managers, property managers, building owners, and contractors
  • Sell preventive maintenance agreements, service contracts, equipment replacements, and retrofit projects
  • Identify and pursue commissioning and turnkey mechanical project opportunities
  • In the St. Louis market, support both HVAC and plumbing service opportunities
  • Prospect through a mix of networking, cold calling, site visits, and industry outreach
  • Utilize company tools and databases to identify potential customers and build a pipeline
  • Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to develop solutions for clients
  • Manage sales activities, proposals, and pipeline through the company CRM
