Requirements

  • Proven Technical Expertise: You have a foundational understanding of HVAC and refrigeration systems, and a minimum of 3 years of experience in their maintenance and repair.
  • High school diploma or GED required; a technical certification or associate degree in HVAC or a related field is a significant plus.
  • EPA Section 608 Certification (Universal) is required.
  • Adept Problem-Solver: You possess strong troubleshooting skills and an ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical diagrams, and equipment manuals with precision.
  • Compliance-Minded: You have a strong knowledge of local building codes and safety regulations.
  • Organizational Guru: You are meticulously organized, detail-oriented, and have strong time management abilities.
  • Physical Dexterity: The ability to lift up to 50 lbs., climb ladders, and work in confined spaces is essential.
  • Flexibility: Ability to work a schedule that may include evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed to meet the Club's demands.

Responsibilities

  • Take charge of the installation, maintenance, and repair of all HVAC and refrigeration systems across the club. This includes air conditioning units, chillers, ice machines, and ventilation systems.
  • Respond to maintenance requests and emergency calls promptly. You'll troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical and electrical issues, ensuring all systems are operating efficiently and safely to prevent disruptions.
  • Ensure all work performed adheres to local, state, and federal regulations and safety standards. You'll be the club's authority on HVAC and refrigeration compliance.
  • Monitor and maintain an accurate inventory of parts and supplies. You'll ensure you have the necessary components on hand to perform timely repairs and preventive maintenance.
  • Maintain meticulous records of all maintenance and repair activities, documenting work performed, parts used, and system statuses. You will also participate in the planning and execution of preventive maintenance programs to extend the lifespan of our equipment.
