HVAC/R Technician
About The Position
HoldenHolden Mechanical is seeking a skilled Licensed HVAC/R Technician to support the installation, maintenance, and repair of commercial and industrial mechanical systems in Worcester, MA. This role covers a broad range of equipment including heating systems (boilers, furnaces, geothermal), ventilation (ductwork, air balancing, industrial systems), air conditioning (VRF, chilled water, humidity control), and refrigeration (walk-in units, process cooling, data centers). As part of a full-service mechanical contractor, the technician will work on repairs, retrofits, preventative maintenance, and new system installations. This position also supports piping installation, energy-efficient upgrades, and collaboration with engineering and fabrication teams to deliver high-quality, end-to-end mechanical solutions.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years commercial HVAC service experience
- Minimum 3 years HVAC system installation experience
- Motivated and enjoy working in the HVAC industry
- MA Journeyman Refrigeration License
- Troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
- EPA universal certification
- Valid driver’s license
- Must possess hand tools
- Good communication skills
- High school diploma
- Skills in controls installation and troubleshooting or a willingness to learn
