About The Position

Do you have several years of HVAC experience and want to take the next step in your career? Prefer being out in the field instead of behind a desk? Comfortable working with customers and handling physically active tasks? Busby’s is looking for a dedicated, detail-oriented professional to join our Quality Assurance team. In this role, you’ll conduct quality inspections on heating and air equipment to ensure our customers receive the highest level of service. Requirements

• 3+ years of HVAC inspection or electrical/mechanical experience
• Background in brazing, electrical wiring, duct design, pipe fitting and pressure systems
• Must have Type I & Type II EPA Certifications
• Strong ability to read technical drawings and specifications
• Excellent communication skills and a commitment to integrity and quality
• Knowledge of building codes, safety standards, and energy regulations

Responsibilities

• Inspect HVAC, piping and duct systems for code and design compliance
• Perform pressure and leak testing
• Review HVAC drawings, specifications, and manufacturers’ submittals
• Document inspections and maintain QA records
• Collaborate with comfort consultants, installers and leadership
• Travel to and from job sites as needed
