Requirements

  • Minimum 18 years of age
  • Valid driver’s license and insurable driving record
  • Successful Pre-Employment Drug test
  • Proficient in Microsoft office, including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
  • Ability to use AutoCAD
  • Detail oriented and extremely organized
  • Ability to succeed in a fast-paced environment with high volume of information from multiple sources
  • Ability and desire to understand Company’s business and customer needs
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong sense of urgency; a good time-manager with an ability to self-prioritize and meet strict deadlines
  • Ability and commitment to maintain confidentiality.
  • Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • A strong work ethic and a high level of self-motivation
  • Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment
  • Bachelro’s Degree or equivalent or extensive experience in Commercial HVAC industry preferred.
  • Over 4 years in the HVAC industry with technical hands-on experience
  • 2 plus years project management experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Design, Estimating, Engineering and Permitting
  • Review Contract requirements, Existing engineering drawings, Roof reports and other technical reports to ensure proper system design meets code and client requirements
  • Work with sales rep to develop job estimates, perform site take offs, get vendor and subcontractor quotes as needed
  • Work with Construction Managers to review design requirements and plan for construction and installation
  • Submission and Coordination for Permits/Engineering Drawings as needed Procurement and Subcontractor Management
  • Work with suppliers to develop price lists and negotiate pricing
  • Perform procurement for all materials and equipment
  • Coordinate shipments and stocking of inventory as needed
  • Develop and send out bid requests to Engineers and Subcontractors, evaluating the responses to award contracts based on price, value, experience, customer service, etc. and manage vendor relations Construction
  • Oversee all installation efforts and provide direction for Construction Managers to ensure project is built on schedule and within budget
  • Proactively ensure operations team has necessary tools, equipment and material to perform work
  • Represent company in project meetings and client negotiations
  • Ensure all Project documentation and client deliverables are obtained and filed properly.
  • Ensure all company, client, and project policies, procedures, standards, safety requirements etc., are adhered to.
  • Accounting
  • Manage financial aspects of projects including, Client Billings, Subcontracts, Purchase Orders, invoicing and cash flow forecasts.
  • Assume additional responsibilities as directed
