Join our team and discover why we are a top veteran employer and Certified Great Place to Work™ ASRC Federal Gulf State Constructors is seeking a HVAC Mechanic in support of our Sheppard AFB Base Operations Support Contract Located in Wichita Falls, TX. Overview: Responsible for installing, repairing, maintaining, and operating heating systems, air conditioning systems, ventilation systems, air compressors, etc. Performs water treatment on closed loop and open loop HVAC systems. Performs work on commercial and residential air conditioning and refrigeration systems to include refrigerators, freezers, water coolers, de-humidification equipment, humidifiers. This position requires the performance of on-call duties as well as shift work during the on-call period.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
5 years of HVAC experience
Universal EPA certification
Valid State Driver’s License
Must be a US or Permanent Citizen due to contract requirements

Nice To Haves

HVAC License desirable and may substitute for years of experience

Responsibilities

Responsible for the installation, repair, maintenance and operation of HVAC equipment.
Performs minor controls repair or replacement. Replaces electrical motors, operators, etc.
Assists in the descaling of equipment as required.
Installs, repairs, maintains, and operates air conditioning equipment, refrigeration systems, water coolers, air compressors, vacuum systems, etc.
Works with EMCS to ensure HVAC systems are monitored and controlled by EMCS.
Performs preventive maintenance on AHUs, chillers, condensers, boilers, furnaces and pumps.
Performs other duties as assigned in support of the customer and mission.
