About The Position

Inspect , install, maintain, repair, and troubleshoot heating, ventilation, cooling, and refrigeration systems to ensure optimal climate control and indoor air quality. Key duties include repairing defective parts, cleaning components, testing electrical circuits, calibrating thermostats, and ensuring compliance with safety codes and EPA regulations for refrigerant handling. strong problem-solving/troubleshooting, deep mechanical and electrical knowledge, excellent customer service/communication, attention to detail, and time management Managing multiple service calls efficiently and adapting to new technologies (like smart thermostats) and varying work conditions are key to success

Responsibilities

• Installing, replacing, and repairing HVAC systems, including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, Cooling Towers ,boilers etc.
• Performing routine maintenance (e.g., changing filters, cleaning ducts, lubricating parts) to ensure efficiency and longevity
• Identifying mechanical and electrical failures using testing equipment like pressure gauges and voltmeters
• Adhering to safety standards (e.g., OSHA) and local codes while handling refrigerants (EPA 608 or universal certification)
• Keeping detailed records of maintenance/repairs, estimating costs, and advising clients on system performance or replacements
• Repairing defective parts

• Repairing walk-in coolers, freezers, and industrial-grade air handling units
