What You’ll Do Report to customers’ homes on time and arrive with the general knowledge of the work to be done. Educate customers on system use, maintenance tips and techniques for damage prevention; provide insight and professional suggestions for optimizing system function. Perform routine maintenance such as replenishing refrigerants and replacing filters. Install thermostats, dehumidifiers / timers, run tests to help identify appropriate settings and instruct customers on the proper use. Replace components such as coils, compressors, and controls. Utilize several types of tools, including electrical hand-tools, saws, drills, vacuums, and refrigerant gauges. Determine service requirements by applying technical skills and experience, including system operations and preventive maintenance experience. Complete all work processes while maintaining safe working conditions and personal safety. Maintain accurate logs of all work performed. Ensure our reputation for superior service is maintained during all interactions with customers. Complete special projects and additional duties as assigned / required.

Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year of HVAC experience.
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC industry best practices and building codes.
  • Valid Driver’s License and Clean MVR.
  • HVAC School & EPA Certification required.

  • Physically able to work on HVAC units - Must be able to lift 50 pounds at a time.
