This role involves installing heating, air conditioning, and ventilation equipment, as well as other products, in accordance with company and manufacturer specifications. The installer may test systems, identify issues, perform repairs, complete paperwork, and fabricate/install ducts. Safety policies and procedures must be followed. Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Experience may be substituted for education.
  • Prior HVAC installation experience.
  • Ability to read installation plans/documents.
  • Maintains and cleans work area upon completion.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must be able to communicate in English effectively, both verbally and in writing.
  • Beginner computing skills and able to use a computer, laptop or tablet.
  • Valid driver's license required.
  • Ability to work overtime with little notice.

Nice To Haves

  • HVAC trade school certification.
  • 1-2 years’ experience in construction, HVAC or related experience.
  • EPA Certification.
  • Willingness to learn and be a part of a team.
  • Positive attitude and a team player.
  • Ability to build positive relationships with customers, both internal and external.
  • Willingness and ability to work collaboratively with all levels of the organization.
  • Safety mindset and acceptance of a safety culture.

Responsibilities

  • Works under general supervision to install heating, air conditioning, ventilation equipment, as well as other products in accordance with company requirements and manufacture specifications.
  • May tests systems to ensure proper functioning.
  • Identifies issues and follows-up with required repair to ensure all relevant components are working correctly to ensure compliance.
  • Completes all paperwork in a neat, accurate, thorough and timely manner.
  • May perform start-up on air conditioning systems as needed.
  • Fabricates and installs various ducts and duct fittings as required.
  • Follows safety policies and procedures.
  • Other duties as assigned.
