About The Position

Tim Whistler Plumbing, Gas Fitting, HVAC & Electrical is hiring a Residential HVAC Installer with 1–2 years of installation experience. If you’re looking to grow your skills in a supportive, team‑focused environment, this is a strong opportunity.

Requirements

• 1–2 years of residential HVAC installation experience
• Ability to install water heaters; plumbing knowledge is a plus
• HVAC training or apprenticeship preferred
• EPA Certification (or ability to obtain)
• Strong tool proficiency and mechanical skills
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in tight/hot/cold spaces
• Good communication and customer‑service mindset

Nice To Haves

• HVAC training or apprenticeship preferred
• plumbing knowledge is a plus

Responsibilities

• Install HVAC systems: furnaces, AC units, heat pumps, ductwork
• Connect electrical wiring, refrigerant lines, gas and water lines
• Start up and test new systems for proper operation
• Install water heaters during winter months
• Follow all safety codes and company standards
• Communicate system basics to customers
• Load materials, measure job sites, complete documentation
