About The Position
HVAC Install Lead Advantage Air is seeking an experienced and dependable Lead HVAC Installer to lead residential HVAC system installations . This position is responsible for overseeing install crews, ensuring high-quality workmanship, and delivering excellent customer service while meeting company and safety standards.
Requirements
- EPA Section 608 Universal Certification
- Minimum 3–5 years of residential HVAC installation experience
- Proven leadership and crew management ability
- Strong knowledge of residential HVAC systems and best practices
- Ability to read and interpret installation manuals and schematics
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in attics, crawl spaces, and outdoor conditions
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
Responsibilities
- Lead and complete residential HVAC installations from start to finish
- Install furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and residential ductwork
- Supervise, train, and mentor install helpers
- Ensure installations meet manufacturer specifications, local codes, and company standards
- Perform system start-ups and verify proper operation
- Communicate professionally with homeowners regarding system operation and job progress
- Maintain clean, safe, and organized job sites
- Complete the required job documentation accurately
- Represent Advantage Air in a professional manner
