HVAC Install Assistant Location/Territory: Based out of Livermore, CA; Our service area extends throughout Alameda and San Joaquin county. Install/Replace HVAC equipment including, but not limited to: ductwork, attic and/or vertical splits (gas or heat pump), rooftop package units (gas or heat pump) Maintain good working order of company vehicle Maintain proper stock, parts, tools, and safety equipment in the vehicle Travel to job sites in the service area, and work with dispatch to ensure schedule is maintained and delays are properly communicated to the customer Design Duct Systems for Optimal Comfort and Efficiency Engage in conversation with the homeowner to uncover any concern or interests regarding their AC system which could lead to potential accessory sales or a new system replacement Understand company pricing program and generate appropriate customer invoices and other paperwork at the job site and electronically process credit card payments Participate in company-provided training opportunities on customer service and the latest industry technologies Work with apprentices and entry-level installers to coach and mentor Qualifications We are looking for a teammate who is as comfortable solving technical puzzles as they are communicating with customers. This is a physically demanding role that requires grit, precision, and a high level of integrity. The Ideal Candidate: HVAC Knowledge: Completion of a recognized trade school program is preferred. We are looking for lifelong learners ready to complete our rigorous in-house training to become specialists in the Service Champions way. Mechanical Aptitude: You have a natural "knack" for how things work and enjoy troubleshooting complex systems. Physical Stamina: You are comfortable working in attics, garages, crawl spaces, and on roofs. You have the ability to climb ladders, navigate tight spaces, and perform demanding physical tasks daily. Customer First Mentality: You provide exceptional service on every job site, acting as a professional ambassador for our company image. Self-Starter & Results-Driven: You thrive in high-energy environments, can follow directions to a T, and are capable of working independently to get the job done right the first time. Detail-Oriented: You don’t cut corners; you take pride in the "little things" that ensure a system is running perfectly.
