About The Position
RA Hoy, a NearU Company, is seeking a reliable and hardworking HVAC Install Assistant to join our installation team with residential HVAC system installs and replacements. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to start or grow a long-term career in the HVAC trade while learning hands-on from experienced installers.
Requirements
- Interest in learning the HVAC trade and building a career
- Mechanical aptitude and willingness to work with tools
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical labor
- Comfortable working in attics, crawlspaces, and outdoor environments
- Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license preferred
- Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and dependability
Nice To Haves
- Previous HVAC or construction experience is a plus, but not required
Responsibilities
- Assist lead installers with residential HVAC system installations and replacements
- Help set indoor and outdoor equipment, ductwork, and accessories
- Load, unload, and organize tools, equipment, and materials
- Ensure job sites are kept clean, organized, and safe
- Follow all safety procedures and company standards
- Support quality checks to ensure installations meet RA Hoy expectations
- Communicate professionally with team members and customers
