About The Position

Fast paced and growing Mechanical Contractor is seeking a qualified candidate for an apprentice. Do you have the willingness to learn and grow with the HVAC industry? Then this job is for you! Candidate must have 2+ year experience, the ability to be a proactive problem solver, work independent with accuracy and follow through to completion. A clear understanding of principles, methods, and techniques of mechanical construction, corporate and industry practices, process and standards and their impact on project activities

Requirements

Ability to communicate on all levels
Must have reliable transportation to the jobsite daily
Must have valid driver’s license
Must be able to lift heavy objects up to 50lbs, be able to bend/stoop, squat/crouch, climb, kneel and twist
Must be able to climb ladders, work both inside and outside, and around moving equipment safely.
Must be able to pass a drug test and background check

High School Diploma or equivalent

Responsibilities

Follow construction plans and instruction
Assist mechanics installing HVAC ductwork
General Construction clean up
Assist in material distribution including loading and unloading building materials to be used
Maintain a safe and secure work environment and attend safety meetings
Operate or tend equipment and machines used
