About The Position

Coolray is currently seeking HVAC Install Helpers to join our team comprised of creative and energetic employees, who are dedicated to delivering the best customer service experience every day. Our Install Helpers perform basic HVAC tasks, assist our experienced HVAC Installers, and provide exceptional customer service at ALL times by treating customers with the utmost respect and attention. The position will provide on the job training and learning while requiring adherence to workplace procedures, following health and safety guidance, and successfully completing tasks to help you gain further HVAC licenses/certifications. You’ll be able to play an important role within the HVAC Installation Department at Coolray Companies. This role includes partnering with other departments to ensure accurate installation along with providing the expected world class customer service Coolray is known for!

Requirements

Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen
High School Diploma or equivalent
Familiarity with modern warehousing practices and methods
Good organizational and time management skills
Must be able to lift up to 49 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation
Must be able to stand/walk for up to 8 hours
Data entry, attention to detail
Experience using computers
Ability to travel to various warehouses as needed (Marietta, Jonesboro, Suwanee)

Responsibilities

Install/Replace HVAC equipment including, but not limited to: ductwork, attic and/or vertical splits (gas or heat pump), rooftop package units (gas or heat pump)
Maintain good working order of company vehicle
Maintain proper stock, parts, tools, and safety equipment in the vehicle.
Travel to job sites in the service area, and work with dispatch to ensure schedule is maintained and delays are properly communicated to the customer
Participate in company-provided training opportunities on customer service and the latest industry technologies.
