About The Position

Systems Contractors, a full-service HVAC/Mechanical Contractor, is hiring a Commercial HVAC Estimator for our Raleigh-Durham office. THE ROLE AT A GLANCE: · Prepare and present bid proposals. · Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to clarify project requirements and address any concerns. · Conduct site visits to assess existing conditions and gather necessary data for accurate estimating. · Develop detailed cost breakdowns for labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractor services. · Provide input on value engineering and cost-saving measures to enhance project efficiency and profitability. · Maintain accurate records of estimates, bid documents, and project correspondence. · Coordinate with vendors and subcontractors to obtain quotes and ensure cost-effective procurement of materials and services. WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO THE TABLE: · Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering or a related field is preferred. · 5 + years of experience in Commercial Mechanical Estimating. · Experience with estimates for design-build projects is preferred. · Excellent analytical and mathematical skills with a keen attention to detail. · Strong communication and negotiation skills with the ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams. Requirements

• 5 + years of experience in Commercial Mechanical Estimating.
• Excellent analytical and mathematical skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills with the ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.
