About The Position

HVAC Diagnostic Service Technician- Cincinnati, OH 45216 -We are offering a $2,500 sign-on bonus for this position that will be paid out to you over the first year of employment. We are thrilled to announce that our apprenticeship is now Trane-accredited! With both your hourly pay and commissions, your total yearly income can range from $75,000 to $140,000. The Big Task As an HVAC Diagnostic Service Technician, you will specialize in troubleshooting, system diagnostics, and repair-focused service in residential homes. Your primary mission is to accurately identify system issues, restore equipment performance, and deliver expert-level service that customers can trust.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and repair residential HVAC systems including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and ventilation equipment
  • Perform troubleshooting using technical knowledge, system readings, and testing tools
  • Complete maintenance and corrective repairs to maximize equipment performance and longevity
  • Clearly explain findings and repair options to customers in a professional, educational manner
  • Accurately document diagnostics, repairs, materials used, and system performance data
