HVAC Counter Sales Representative
About The Position
Republic is seeking a full-time HVAC/Mechanical Counter Sales Representative for our Appleton, WI branch location. Republic is a trusted solutions provider to its customers in Eastern and Central Iowa, Illinois, and Southern Wisconsin. The Counter Sales Representative is an important role for the branch and will assist with the following: -Answer phone and assist customers with questions or enter orders in to our ERP system over the phone -Enter orders from customers who visit the branch locations -Work with Territory Managers to provide quotes for customers per the Territory Manager's request -Convert quotes to orders if quote meets customer's needs -Interface with Purchasing to get Purchase Orders for items customers request that are not in stock. -Assist warehouse staff with picking, packing and shipping orders as needed -Smaller branches may need help with receiving shipments and other Warehouse support -Other duties as assigned Requirements The ideal candidate will have: · HVAC Sales and/or Service Experience · Experience with load calculations such as Manual J or experience with Wrightsoft is a plus · Knowledge of the HVAC market and its unique needs · Exceptional customer service skills · Excellent verbal and written communication skills · Detail oriented and ability to get things done quickly · Desire to learn, grow and advance in a rapidly growing company · Team player willing to do a variety of tasks depending on what's needed for a brand new branch
Requirements
- HVAC Sales and/or Service Experience
- Knowledge of the HVAC market and its unique needs
