About The Position

Are you ready to step into a leadership role with one of Knoxville's trusted HVAC companies? Standard Air and Electric is searching for a full-time HVAC Construction Supervisor to join our team in Knoxville, TN. YOUR NEW ROLE AS AN HVAC CONSTRUCTION SUPERVISOR Your work week will be Monday through Friday, 7 am to 4 pm. Each morning, you'll report to a central location before heading out to your job site or service area. This is a full-time opportunity-no weekend or evening shifts. As an HVAC Construction Supervisor, you'll supervise HVAC installation projects at custom homes and remodels, ensuring every installation meets our standards, local codes, and manufacturer guidelines. You'll lead and support technicians, assign daily work, and keep projects on schedule by working closely with our Project Manager and contractors. Reviewing blueprints and project plans will become second nature as you ensure every task is done right the first time. You'll conduct job site inspections, maintain a safe and organized job site, and resolve any installation issues before project completion. Communication will be key-you'll keep the Project Manager informed, interface with contractors and homeowners, and document progress and outcomes. You'll also assist with job costing, material tracking, and help develop best practices that keep our team ahead of the curve. Requirements

2+ years of supervisory or leadership experience
Experience with residential new construction or light commercial projects
Valid driver's license
Leadership, team management, organizational, and planning skills
Problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
Effective communication skills, attention to detail, and quality control
Time management and scheduling skills
Must have the ability to pass a background check and drug screening test.

Nice To Haves

Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, duct design, and installation standards
Ability to read blueprints and construction plans
Ability to lift 50+ pounds as well as work in attics, crawl spaces, construction environments, stand, climb, and bend for extended periods
