About The Position

We are seeking a reliable and responsible individual to join our team as a HVAC Start-up Technician. Job Description: Knowledge of chillers, boilers, air handlers, and HVAC systems Performs pre-functional inspections/checklist and start-up of commercial HVAC systems Performs installation, diagnostic and repairs on refrigeration systems at time of startup and warranty period Reading of and understanding of control wiring and high voltage wiring diagrams Interprets blue prints, submittal data and installation/operation manuals to provide complete startup per manufactures recommendations Documents work by completing all paperwork on each job for each piece of equipment. Assist installation mechanics in completing and mounting of field installed devices on equipment prior to start up as needed Trouble shoot issues as they arise Work with Commissioning agents as required and complete require documentation Disclaimer The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by employees assigned to this job. Requirements

• 4 year minimum experience in installation and startup of HVAC equipment
• Communication and customer service skills
• Computer skills in using Microsoft office and/or IPad for generation of field reports/startup forms
• Knowledge of control and equipment sequence of operations

Nice To Haves

• VRF installation and startup is a plus
