OVERALL OBJECTIVE: Level-1 Duties include operational checkout and calibration of provided controller applications and hardware, reading project documentation, and mechanical blueprints. Level-2 Duties include operational checkout and calibration of provided controller applications and hardware, functional testing of provided software applications, assisting/mentoring team members of a lower level, reading project documentation, and mechanical blueprints. Level-3 Duties include operational checkout and calibration of provided controller applications and hardware, functional testing of provided software applications, integration support, BAS global logic, assisting/mentoring team members of a lower level reading project documentation, and mechanical blueprints. Level-4 Duties include operational checkout and calibration of provided controller applications and hardware, functional testing of provided software applications, integration support, BAS global logic, development of site-specific Graphical User Interface, assisting/mentoring team members of a lower level, reading project documentation, and mechanical blueprints.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Must possess documented experience/training on various systems and controls.
  • Must be able to work without constant supervision, make reliable decisions, have good judgment, and have knowledge of safety procedures.
  • Must be able to handle multiple tasks and projects and prioritize based on departmental functions.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Good interpersonal skills required with strong communication and organization skills.
  • Must have valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Nice To Haves

  • Candidates with computer science or computer engineering backgrounds are encouraged to apply.
  • Experience with HVAC equipment repair/maintenance is preferred but not required.
  • Strong computer skills are necessary for Level 2-4 and would be preferred, but not a necessity for Level-1.

Responsibilities

  • Proactively work in a safe manner in the context of performing the functions of your position.
  • Ensure that customer satisfaction is always 100%.
  • Interact with customers and contractors as required.
  • Coordinate with project managers to meet the needs of all projects.
  • Provide assistance to others as needed.
  • Provide status reports of work related to any project involvement.
  • Strong troubleshooting (Level-2 through Level-4)
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
