HVAC And Refrigeration Mechanic - Full Time (Tropicana Atlantic City)
About The Position
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Understands and responds to internal guests needs. Communicates in a friendly, respectful and understandable manner. Politely gives consistent, timely and accurate information and finds answer when unsure. Uses outlined service behaviors when encountering guests. Meets expected service delivery times as defined by department’s service standards or as required by receiver of service or goods. Is a team player, cooperates with employees within the department as well as other departments. Speaks positively about the company, co-workers and guests. Maintains and operates various types of ventilation systems, filter systems, humidity controls and exhaust controls. Performs maintenance on mechanical and electrical aspects of systems to include high, medium and low temperature units. Repairs and adjusts equipment as required. Installs and repairs pipes, fixtures and drainage systems as per specifications and applicable codes. Assists with training of the Apprentice Engineer. Ability to read and understand blue-prints. Changes and installs air filters as required. Maintains air handling units. Responds to routine maintenance calls as required. Keeps Lead informed of all material inventory and supplies needed to perform job duties. Completes special assignments for management as requested. Requirements
- Previous Plumbing/Mechanical experience required.
- Experience with evacuating systems and changing compressors required.
- Refrigerant Certification I and II required.
- Must possess a valid New Jersey driver’s license.
