About The Position

Gustave A. Larson is a leading wholesale distributor of HVAC, and Refrigeration (HVACR) equipment, parts, and supplies. The Larson Account Manager ensures excellent customer service, proactively increases sales and profits utilizing a local market team approach and serving as an integral member with both the sales and operations teams to satisfy customer business needs.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • 2 years account management or sales experience or related education required.
  • Proficiency in using CRM software as well as other sales-related tool, preferably Salesforce.
  • Proficiency in ERP software, preferably P21.
  • Ability to travel up to 30% of the time within the assigned territory.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous HVAC experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Customer Relationship Management: Cultivate and grow relationships with an assigned book of business. Proactively engages as customer's main point of contact offering support, providing information, and guidance.
  • Sales and Revenue Generation: Recognize opportunities within existing accounts for sales growth. This includes upselling and cross-selling products or services when appropriate.
  • Account Management: Oversee a portfolio of assigned customers, maintaining accurate records of sales activities and customer interactions using Customer Relationship Management Software.
  • Team Collaboration: Partner with Territory Manager(s) to share to new sales opportunities and supports the branch by assisting at the counter, answering phones, and other duties as requested.
  • Product Knowledge: Maintain a thorough understanding of the Company's products or services to provide accurate and detailed information to customers.
