The High Voltage Battery and Charging Systems Team within the Electrified Systems Engineering organization is looking for an experienced electrified vehicle systems engineer. The systems engineer will be responsible for developing software strategies for Ford's electrified vehicle portfolio. Specific responsibilities will include our battery, power conversion, and charging modules. You will directly shape the future of electrification in order to deliver outstanding customer experience while also meeting industry standards and government regulations.
Responsibilities
- Author and release new software system requirements for battery and charging across multiple programs and suppliers.
- Lead the software systems engineering to enable electrified propulsion and charging. Architect and allocate functionality to efficiently meet product attribute requirements.
- Cascade software requirements and coordinate functionality rollout with battery and charging software teams.
- Ensure software strategies comply with industry standards, regulations, and corporate governance for the global market (US/EU/CN).
